This target stick is ideal for LARGE animals (horses, cows, sheep, llamas etc).

Targeting is one of the most important foundation behaviours. These telescoping targets are an incredibly useful training tool for larger animals. For horses they can be used for teaching a touch/follow with the nose (e.g. for float loading, carrot stretches, free-jumping, first ridden work or liberty lunging). It can also be used for targeting body parts such as the cannon bone (for spanish walk / jambette / 'panther walk') or the hip (for mounting block, travers, haunches in). 

The possibilities are endless.

I have also used these targets with dogs, sheep, goats and pigs. Please beware of animals eating/biting the soft foam ball!

Feel free to leave a note requesting a certain colour, however you may receive a different colour depending on availability - there is no guarantees sorry! I usually have red, yellow, green, blue, orange.
