Recipe for a Junior Animal Trainer: Take a handful of kids, mix with dogs, chickens, sheep and horses, and sprinkle with fresh air and laughter!

Thursday 10.30am or 4pm, starting 27 October

No pets needed - we supply the animals! Suitable for 6-14 year olds, this is a great chance for budding animal trainers to get hands-on with all our animals, learning how to handle them safely, train them and care for them. In this class kids work with Positively Together animals, and then take their learning home to their own pets. You'll be interacting with our friendly, trained horses, sheep, dogs, cows, chickens and pigs! We keep groups VERY small so your child gets lots of hands-on time with our special team of animals.

Kids learn:
- how to safely and confidently interact with many different shapes and sizes and species of animal
- how to listen with their eyes so they can speak horse, dog, cow, sheep, pig and chicken
- how to train animals of ALL kinds, and how we use positive reinforcement to inspire them to WANT to play and work with us. (Practical training skills including observation, timing, coordination, clear communication).

We will support your child to embrace their kind, compassionate, loving selves while feeling confident and capable. The key message is that we can be empathetic and gentle AND assertive and confident, without the need to resort to force or coercion to get cooperation from animals (or humans...).

6 week programme - from just $29 per week!
Total cost $195 (or $175 per child for families with more than one child attending).
