Bex Tasker

Founder & Head Trainer 
Bex is the face and the drive and the passion behind all the various arms of Positively Together.  Adults and kids, horses, dogs, sheep and chickens, real life and virtual teaching, we do it all!  Visit "My story" to find out more about my professional background and credentials, and our journey.

Brooke Friend

Next Gen Coach & General Advisor
Brooke has been a driving force behind our flagship Next Gen Trainers youth programme right from day one. She is a youth worker with a Diploma in Pastoral Leadership as well as Bex's bestie and fave business advisor. Brooke is on maternity leave currently, but still lends an ear and gives advice when she's not busy with baby (& sometimes even when she is...)!

Paige Sutton

Next Gen coach
Paige is studying a teaching degree, but in between work and study she helps with holiday programs and kids animal classes.  She is a coach in our Next Gen Trainers youth programme and has a special passion for sheep training! 

Em Sandifer

Next Gen coach
Em lives and breathes animals.  She grew up in Next Gen, then lived and worked here as a coach, but now works full time at Paradise Valley Springs in Rotorua, caring for and training the Kea, lions, pony, donkey and other animals.  Em comes back over occasionaly to coach and help with camps.

Awhi

Welcoming Committee & Demo Dog
Awhi takes his job very seriously. He is in charge of greeting all our students as they arrive, and he also considers it his job to make sure Bex  gets away from the admin work on the computer and goes outside to play. Awhi is a demo dog during our training classes and enjoys teaching kids how to interact with and train dogs.

Hokey & Minstrel

The Teachers
We have many horses here at Positively Together but these two brothers are my original teachers.  Hokey and Minstrel are excellent and experienced teachers of humans.
​We also have two minis, Max and Misty, and two mares Cadence and Firefly.
