Hi, I'm Bex
I am a certified trainer with over 20 years experience. I help make everyday life with your animal companions easy, peaceful and fun.
Former NZ Customs drug dog handler, internationally sought-after clinician in positive horsemanship, chaos coordinator to our menagerie of trained sheep, horses, bunnies, chickens and dogs. Oh, and wrangler of the next generation of young animal trainers and behaviour scientists.
I pride myself on not just providing expert animal training and behaviour advice, but on ensuring quality teaching and compassion for the humans at the other end of the lead too. This means I prioritise practical, "do-able" training solutions, no matter how busy or overwhelmed you are feeling.
I'm based in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand and work with people across the globe — in-person, online, and everything in between. If you're feeling frustrated with your animals or you've been told they are stubborn, dominant, or just "too much" — I'd love to offer you a different lens, and some practical solutions. Engaged, willing horses
Bex has a lovely relaxed engaging style, and is extremely knowledgable. She keeps up with the latest science too. She has helped me tremendously. My horses are much more engaged, and my very ear-shy mare now comes over and puts the bridle on herself if I hold it up!
