When you’re on this horse-centred path it can be easy to feel a bit isolated, even (or perhaps especially!) when surrounded by other horse people. My clients tell me this all the time, and I’ve also felt that way a lot myself, throughout my nearly 20-year clicker training journey.  Good news! Here at Positively Us we are a safe, warm and judgement-free community where we employ the principles of positive reinforcement on each other, as well as our animals. What's more, as they say, "all of us are smarter than one of us".  So get engaged and share your experience and knowledge.

My goal, always, is to bring clarity and a clear way forward. To clear the clutter, to help you prioritise and to translate complex concepts where needed. Your learning will be delivered in a way that is consumable and not overwhelming. I understand how busy your life is and I want to help you get what you need and want, and then enable you to get outside with your horse and away from the screen. I want you out there doing it - experimenting, playing, building better quality relationships and creating fun and useful behaviours with your horse, rather than feeling like you need to find 45 minutes of quiet time every day for weeks on end to watch more videos or complete more modules before you'll be ready.
To that end, while we are learning-focused, this community is NOT a video library with hundreds of hours of raw training footage, and I won't be putting pressure on you to "keep up" with homework assignments.   ​The real value of Positively Us comes in the community learning. The extra bonus is that content is dynamic and tailored around members' needs and goals, not restricted to a pre-defined curriculum.

ABOUT ME
I'm a lifelong lover of horses.  I'm also a lifelong behaviour nerd with almost 20 years of experience in positive reinforcement training.  I am dedicated to promoting principles of compassion, clarity and consent between horses and humans, and I am passionate about bringing the JOY and the FUN back into horsemanship!
I teach people from all over the world how to inspire behaviour change in their horses, building dialogue and choice into all their interactions.
