We travel with our trick-trained animal show to local events such as A&P shows, markets, schools, fairs and community events. The Animal Magic show features the Wool Puppies sheep troupe and the Trick'n Chickens, as well as our clever and cuddly dog. The show itself can be tailored to your requirements but usually lasts for around 15-30 minutes plus time for questions. We always get huge crowds and visitors love interacting with the animals between shows.
We perform at: Katikati A&P Show, Waihi A&P Show, Morrinsville A&P Show, the Waihi Beach Farmers Market, Oropi School fair, Te Puna Harvest Market, and a number of other events throughout the season.

Farm tours
The Friendly Farm animal experience
Come and meet our friendly and talented animals! Start your tour by learning about the animals who live here, their breeds and how we take care of them. After you have admired the expansive view out to the Tauranga harbour, take a seat to enjoy the show! Have you ever seen a sheep playing fetch or chickens playing soccer? The Wool Puppies trick trained sheep and the Trick'n Chickens will show off their tricks and you can learn the secrets of how we train them.
If you visit in the spring, we will have lambs in the paddock. Our sheep are all very friendly and come up to eat treats from your hand, bringing their cute bouncy lambs with them. We often have bottle-fed lambs also, who are always keen for a cuddle.
We have two breeds of sheep at the Friendly Farm- the Valais Blacknose, also known as "the cutest sheep in the world", and babydoll sheep, also known as "smiling sheep" for their happy smiling faces and friendly natures. We also have a variety of horses ranging from little to large, Flemish Giant rabbits, rescue chickens, pet cows, Kunekune pigs and more. Our animals all love to say hello, be fed treats from your hand and have their photos taken.
