Do you dream of working with animals?
The Mane Priority presents "DREAM IT: BE IT" - a careers seminar for those who want to live their passion. All welcome - this event is open to anyone of any age or stage, however the format and material is aimed at adults and teenagers. We encourage adults to come along, with or without a teenager! We would prefer young children didn't attend due to the limited space and close layout of the venue. When: 6 July 2019 at 4pm Where: Tauranga Historic Village, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand Come and join us for some real world, straight-up advice on what it will take to open the door to your dream career, from people that have actually done it. This is a collaboration of epic proportions! We have an exciting panel of local and international speakers lined up, with experience in a broad range of animal-related careers. Whether you are interested in vet science, detector dogs, equine hoofcare, conservation and endangered native species, equine or canine behaviour and training, captive wild animals, animal-related corporate sales, equine-assisted therapy, or maybe you just don't know WHAT you want to do yet, this event will have something for you. Our panel of professionals will tell the stories of how they got to where they are, give us advice on how to get a foot in the door, and share the honest reality of the ups and downs and what it takes to succeed in their field.
