Twelve Oaks Equestrian Centre, Loburn, Canterbury: 22-23 April, 2023

FORMAT:
A two-day group learning experience. In our small, safe and supportive group you will learn through discussion, simulation games and exercises, individual coaching with your horse, and by observing others with their horses.
Day 1: Introduction to positive reinforcement, horse psychology and how horses learn; setting boundaries and resolving food anxiety; foundation behaviours on the ground. A roadmap to clarity and relaxed focus. How to build incredible relationship, motivation and enthusiasm, while maintaining your boundaries for safety and convenience.
Day 2: The practical application of reward-based training – for work and play, on the ground in the saddle. Content will be tailored to the humans horses in attendance, so bring your requests and questions! We usually cover aspects of groundwork/liberty, problem solving and riding.
