“Training with positive reinforcement produces horses that are confident, happy and motivated to learn and play with you! Build a stronger bond with your horse, resolve problem behaviours, reach ridden goals faster and enrich your horse's life with liberty and tricks. Expand your toolbox with training that is both gentle and effective."

Bex Tasker is a certified trainer and internationally sought-after clinician specialising in positive reinforcement for equines. She is flying down from the Bay of Plenty to lead us through a two-day group learning experience with our horses. Clinics are small, safe, supportive, and inspiring.
    FORMAT:
A two-day group learning experience.  In our small, safe and supportive group you will learn through discussion, simulation games and exercises, individual coaching with your horse, and by observing others with their horses.  Group will be split as needed to ensure everyone receives the right level of coaching, making the clinic suitable for those new to reward-based training as well as those already experienced and looking to build on their skills.
Day 1: Introduction to positive reinforcement, horse psychology and how horses learn; setting boundaries and resolving food anxiety; foundation behaviours on the ground. A roadmap to clarity and relaxed focus. How to build incredible relationship, motivation and enthusiasm, while maintaining your boundaries for safety and convenience.
Day 2: The practical application of reward-based training – for work and play, on the ground in the saddle. Content will be tailored to the humans horses in attendance, so bring your requests and questions! We usually cover aspects of groundwork/liberty, problem solving and riding.
